Sparky's Story

Sparky came to live with us 8 years ago (1991) after she was abandoned and the people who took her in could not keep her. She had already been spayed and was very quick to learn basic commands. Sparky was at least 2 and maybe 3 when she came to us so she is starting to show her age a bit now but is still amazingly agile and playful (only her gray gives her away). She has enriched our lives and put up with her share of puppies. Sparky is a Border collie cross who prefers the companionship of humans much more than her fellow animals. She respects (is even a little afraid of) cats and is a little nervous around very small children (though she is extremely gentle with them). She is a marvelous companion who tries very hard to follow your every wish.
